Web Host Manager, or WHM, is a powerful program that allows administrative access to the back end of cPanel.
There are two versions that Host Gator uses. Reseller accounts get basic WHM.
- To log in to WHM, perform the following steps: Navigate to the following location in your browser: https://192.168.0.1:2087.
- Enter your WHM username in the Username text box. Enter your password in the Password text box.

cPanel is a web based hosting control panel provided by many hosting providers to website owners allowing them to manage their websites from a web based interface. This program gives users a graphical interface from which they can control their portion of the Unix server.
WHM is the control panel for administering a server, and allows you to create and manage cPanels, and set certain global settings that apply to all the accounts, or the server.
WHM is available on most of our Linux hosting plans, including Reseller Hosting, VPS and Linux Dedicated Servers.
